Thumbnail Filmstrip of Raw Meaty Lamb Vertebrae Images
Idahound's Lamb Vertebrae is a shorter meaty bone (scroll down for dimensions) that's ideal for small to medium dogs. Due to it's softness, this bone can be problematic for large and extra large dogs, if they're aggressive chewers. Like our other lamb bones, the vertebrae is meant to be slowly eaten, providing your dog with a robust supplement of protein, fat, calcium, and other nutrients.
Category: Consumptive
Bone to Meat ratio: 90/10
Hardness Rating: Soft
Idahound’s raw meaty lamb bones are an excellent way to provide your dog with natural dental care. Functioning as both toothbrush and floss, raw bones effectively fight plaque and reduce the likelihood of gum disease. Needless to say, bone chewing is also a wonderfully stimulating activity for dogs. Intended for consumption and recreation, RMBs are a wise and multi-faceted addition to any dog’s raw diet.
Please note: bone chewing has the potential to be a hazardous activity and should be monitored. Any bone that has been chewed down to a chokable size should be discarded.
